One of my favorite online accounts is Megan D Miller on Instagram, she also has a blog but doesn’t seem to keep it updated, however, there is lots of inspiration there as well. Her story is interesting as the home she lives in is also a Salt-Box style home, built in the 1990’s but made to look historic. Her parents built it and recently she and her husband bought it and are now raising their family there.

The fireplace in the dining room is one of my favorite features! I always think of big open fireplaces when I think of authentic old Colonial dining rooms!
